Angel Alvarez

“My goal is for each painting to feel alive, with characters suspended in the middle of their story—expressions full of humor, heart, and emotion. Through color and painterly brushwork, I strive to rekindle the sense of wonder we first felt as children discovering Disney”.

Born and raised in South Florida, Angel M. Alvarez began drawing as soon as he could hold a crayon. His mother nurtured his passion by giving him a copy of The Illusion of Life by Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, fueling his dream of one day becoming a Disney animator. (Read Full Bio)
